How does it work?
The transport card becomes valid when it's used for the first time. From this moment onwards, it's valid for the contracted time: 75 minutes or 1, 2, 3, or 7 consecutive days.
Even though selecting a date during the booking process is required, you aren't required to use it on that day. The card itself remains valid for 24 months until it's activated for the first time. Once you activate the card, the reserved time period will commence, ranging from 1 to 7 days.
Pickup
To use the public transport services, you should take your card from the automatic ACTV machines, which can be found throughout the city or in one of the Venezia Unica sales points.
