Travel back in time to Ancient Rome on this tour: the best way to get to know the Italian capital, its main monuments, and its amazing history. It'll be a journey through 2,000 years in just 3 hours!
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the indicated meeting point in Rome to begin this tour of 3 of Rome's major tourist attractions!
Our first stop will be the iconic Colosseum, Rome's most renowned monument and the largest amphitheatre in the world. Once inside, you'll be awe-struck by its grand stands and impressive dimensions, capable of accommodating up to 50,000 spectators. It's no wonder it has earned its place among the Seven Wonders of the Modern World!
Once we've immersed ourselves in the history of this Italian capital icon, we'll make our way to Palatine Hill. As the most central of Rome's seven hills, it holds a rich heritage as the former residence of royal families and emperors. Did you know that it's believed to have been inhabited since 1000 BC? From this elevated location, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Circus Maximus, once the grandest arena for shows, performances, and races in ancient times.
The last stop of our guided tour of Rome will be the Roman Forum, a symbol of the advanced social, religious, and political life of Ancient Rome. We'll walk along the Via Sacra until we reach the heart of the forum. Here, we'll see the ruins of the Temple of Venus, the Temple of Saturn, the Arch of Titus, and the House of the Vestals.
Finally, after between 2.5 and 3 hours recounting the history of Imperial Rome, our tour will come to an end. Until next time!
