At the indicated time, we'll meet at the central Piazza del Dante square to start enjoying the Naples Food Tour. Get ready to discover delicious Neapolitan cuisine!
The first stop of the day will be at a local cafe, to enjoy authentic Italian coffee. Next, we'll head to the Spanish district to taste a delicious sfogliatella, one of the most traditional pastries of Naples. The recipe dates back to the 18th century!
The route will continue towards the Umberto I Gallery, a commercial space that has become a tourist attraction in this city. Impressive statues and striking murals combine perfectly with the endless rows of shopsin this centre.
We'll make one more stop before lunch to try one of the region's most characteristic sweet treats. Do you know what taralli nzogna e pepe are? The taste of these almond doughnuts with a black pepper aroma is something you won't forget in a hurry! We'll accompany this with a glass of wine.
Are you still hungry? The most awaited dish arrives! We'll tour the city in search of the best frittatina di pasta, one of the most famous Neapolitan street food dishes. You'll love this curious pasta omelette. We'll also be able to taste the exquisite ragout sauce of Naples.
Afterwards, we'll go to the last stop to sample a babà spongecake accompanied by an espresso coffee. Then, we'll visit the Pignasecca, the oldest market in Naples. There, we'll taste a surprise product that will be the perfect finishing touch to this food tour.
