We'll pick you up at your hotel in Naples at the specified time, and then it's off to explore two incredible places in Italy: Pompeii and Vesuvius!
Our first stop takes us to the renowned archaeological site of Pompeii, an archaeological gem of global significance. We'll breeze past the lines and step into this historical site, where excavations dating back to the 18th century reveal the buildings buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
While exploring Pompeii with our guide, we'll uncover the site's most iconic treasures. Highlights include visits to the baths, the Forum, the House of the Faun, the House of the Tragic Poet, the Lupanar, and the sports and leisure facilities of this ancient Roman city. Prepare to be utterly captivated!
Following our exploration of the archaeological site, we'll visit Mount Vesuvius. Our journey begins in Torre del Greco as we ascend the volcano, securing one of the most spectacular vantage points overlooking the Bay of Naples.
The ascent, roughly half an hour, promises to be a rewarding experience. Along the way, we'll share fascinating insights about the crater and the towns visible from its summit.
We'll add the perfect finishing touch to wrap up our adventure after descending from Vesuvius. We'll enjoy a wine-tasting experience featuring three distinct wines paired with a selection of charcuterie, a main course, and a tempting dessert. What better way to end the day!
Finally, we'll make our way back to the starting point in Naples, concluding this memorable 8-hour journey.
