Tour Details

After meeting in Piazza del Gesù Nuovo at the scheduled time, we'll embark on our guided tour of Spaccanapoli, one of the most famous and historic streets in Naples. Did you know that this ancient thoroughfare divides the old town into north and south? Our guide will tell us fascinating facts about the street's history as we explore.

During our walking tour of Spaccanapoli, we'll discover many charming piazzas and admire the façades of a number of important churches. Passing by the narrow streets and alleyways, we'll reach Piazza San Domenico, home to the San Domenico Maggiore Church.

We'll also make our way to the Church of Sant'Angelo a Nilo, whose striking red architecture and statue of the Nile God are sure to captivate you. The guide will reveal the symbolism behind this iconic statue!

We'll then reach the Sansevero Chapel, where we'll enter inside to experience one of the highlights of the tour: seeing the famous statue known as the Veiled Christ. This is one of the most popular works of art in Naples and is considered one of the greatest sculptures of all time thanks to its impressive realism and detail.

Our guided tour of Spaccanapoli will then take us through Piazza San Gaetano, ending at Naples Cathedral.
