On this guided tour of the cloister of St. Clare, we'll discover the secrets of this haven of beauty and spirituality hidden in the heart of Naples.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the cloister of St. Clare, located in Piazza del Gesù Nuovo. Are you ready to discover one of the great architectural jewels of Naples? Let's go!

Once gathered, we'll enter the cloister of St. Clare, a complex attached to the basilica of the same name, where we'll discover the history of one of the most important religious monuments of the city.

During the visit, we'll walk through the cloister gardens, designed in 1742 by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro. These are flanked by several lemon trees and 72 columns decorated with colorful tiles. In addition, we'll pay special attention to the frescoes painted in pastel tones.

What's more, we'll explore the two open rooms of the cloister, where we'll see different works of sacred art.

After 35 minutes of exploring this sacred enclave, we'll bring the tour to an end.
