Dique Punta Negra Paddle Surfing Lesson
The Dique Punta Negra reservoir, also known as the Zonda Dam, has calm waters with no waves. This makes it the perfect place for learning how to Stand Up Paddle, or SUP. Paddle surfing is a fun sport that consists of standing up on a surfboard and paddling through the water while you try to keep your balance.
At your chosen time, we'll see you at the dock in Punta Negra. The instructor will explain how to use the paddle surfing equipment, so don't worry if it's your first time! You'll learn some simple techniques such as the basic turn and changing hands.
Your instructor will also teach you how to find the best position on the board for keeping your balance. It'll then be time to head into the Dique Punta Negra reservoir and start paddling!
As there are no waves, you'll paddle through completely calm waters while admiring the foothills surrounding the dam. After a 1-hour lesson, the activity will end with the equipment being returned back at the meeting point.
