Tianmen Mountain & Baofeng Lake Private Tour
We'll pick you up at 8:30 am from your hotel in Zhangjiajie and leave the city behind us as we set off to the beautiful natural area of Wulingyuan, around 40 minutes away.
We'll walk through lush vegetation to Baofeng Lake, located south of the Suoxiyu village. It's an artificial lake that was created by accident! After taking some impressive pictures, we'll take you to a local restaurant where you'll be able to get something to eat.
After lunch, we'll make our way to the foot of the Tianmen Mountain. Did you know its name means "heaven's door"? We'll get in a cable car to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of this incredible landscape. When we get off, we'll climb the 999 steps to the top, where we'll see for ourselves where the mountain gets its name from!
At the end of the tour, we'll take you back to your hotel at around 4:30 pm.
