An adventure by sea. The Nakupenda sandbar is a natural spectacle. Prison Island is undergoing rehabilitation, but you can visit the old prison structures and spaces. The giant tortoises are fascinating, but the concept of protecting and preserving Western wildlife has not yet taken root here… Our Spanish-speaking guide, Amir, was fabulous, 10/10, always attentive and looking out for us. Be careful when landing if there's wind! ;)
