Tour Description
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Zakynthos at the scheduled time to embark on a captivating island tour.
Our first destination is the Bochali lookout point, where we'll get unbeatable views over the city. Then, we'll head to a traditional olive oil factory, offering insights into Zante's culture and history while delving into the production of the precious "liquid gold."
Next, we visit Anafonitria, home to the Monastery of St. Dionysius, the island's patron saint. Explore the temple and uncover the legend of this saint, featuring frescoes dating back to the 15th century.
Continuing to Exo Xora, discover what is believed to be the oldest olive tree on the island, at over 2000 years old. Sample and purchase various local products in this charming village.
Afterward, we head to Kampi for lunch with breathtaking views of cliffs and the vibrant colors of the Ionian Sea.
Our last stop will be at a local winery. Here, you can take a half-hour guided tour for an additional cost. If you don't want to visit the winery, you can explore the area on your own while waiting for the rest of the group.
The tour concludes back at your hotel, approximately 8 hours after the initial pickup.
