Zakopane & Chocholow Private Tour
Zakopane & Chocholow Private Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Zakopane at 9 am and set off for Chochołów, arriving in 25 minutes.
The tour will begin by walking through this village full of wooden houses located next to the Slovakian border. There, we'll learn about the Goral highlanders and their peculiar customs. We'll also have the opportunity to visit an Oscypek factory, to taste a local smoked cheese - a real delicacy!
The tour will then return to Zakopane to visit Wielka Krokiew, a hill dedicated to the world of skiing where the Ski Jumping World Cup is regularly held. Did you know that the record jump was broken in 2020 with a total of 147 metres?
Next, we'll see the curious wooden construction of the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and visit the Peksow Brzyzek cemetery, known for its artistic style typical of this region of Poland.
Our final stop will be Krupowki Street, where we'll stroll among shops and restaurants, see horse-drawn carriages and enjoy the lively atmosphere and street musicians. If you look around you can see the famous Tatra Mountains.
The tour will end by returning to your hotel at 1 pm.
