Tour Highlights
The tour meets at the indicated time in Ban Jelačić square, from where we'll begin our tour of the scene of the Croatian War of Independence, which shook the country between 1991 and 1995, putting an end to the former Yugoslavia.
For a little over two hours, we'll tour the streets of Zagreb, exploring the devastating consequences of the war on the civil population. We'll see those places worst affected by the bombardments and discover new buildings where once there were schools, hospitals, and houses.
We'll explore the underground tunnels from the Second World War and feel as though we had returned to Croatia in the mid-20th century. We'll discover their use as we tour the dark galleries they form today.
Then, after several hours of learning about the Croatian War of Independence and the mark it left on Zagreb, our tour will come to an end.
