Zadar Free Tour
Just arrived in Zadar and not sure where to start? Meet us at the appointed time at the Roman Forum square, in front of the Archaeological Museum Zadar, for a free tour to discover the main attractions of this Croatian city.
Over the course of an hour and a half, we'll walk through the old town of Zadar, where we'll review the history and culture of this city in the Dalmatia region. We'll start by telling you some of the most curious facts about the Roman Forum. For example, did you know that it's one of the largest in the eastern Adriatic?
We'll continue walking to Five Wells Square, one of Zadar's most emblematic points of interest. Then, we'll walk along the city's main thoroughfare, Kalelarga, until we reach People's Square, near the Church of St. Donatus, a symbol of Zadar. Along the way, we'll also check out the peculiar façade of the Cathedral of St. Anastasia, also called the Zadar Cathedral.
Next, we'll walk along the city's seafront promenade to visit the famous Sea Organ, an experimental musical instrument that uses the waves and tubes underneath the steps to create music.
Finally, we'll visit the Land Gate of Zadar, the perfect place to end this free tour.
