Ready to get to know two gems on the Adriatic coast? In that case, after picking you up from your hotel in Zadar, we'll begin this tour of the best of Zadar and Nin. Did you know that these cities are over 3000 years old?
Firstly, we'll make our way to Zadar's seafront promenade in search of the famous Sea Organ, an experimental architectural creation that emits music due to the sea waves that break against its curious structure. Next, we'll see The Greeting to the Sun, a combination of over 300 glass panels in a giant circle from where you can admire an impressive sunset.
We'll continue our tour by heading to Zadar's historical centre. Here, we'll stop in front of the Cathedral of St. Anastasia and the Roman Forum. While we speak about the history of Zadar, we'll admire these buildings that have a strong Italian influence.
Afterwards, we'll hop on a vehicle to make the journey to the neighbouring city of Nin, also known as the Venice of Croatia due to the large number of Venetian remains along its walls and canals. We'll walk along its narrow streets and admire its perfectly preserved ruins before reaching the Church of the Holy Cross.
After enjoying our time in this picturesque city, we'll head over to Queen Beach. Here, you'll have up to 2 hours of free time to relax and sunbathe on one of the most beautiful beaches in Dalmatia. Did you know that here you'll find the shallowest waters along the whole coastline?
Lastly, we'll begin our return journey to Zadar and we'll say our goodbyes at your hotel after a total of 6 hours.
