Dugi Otok Kayak Tour

Description

When booking, you'll have two options to choose from. Both include transportation by minibus, kayak equipment and an English-speaking guide. Each of the options are detailed below:

Half-Day Kayak Tour

At 10 am, you'll take a ferry from the port of Gazenica to Dugi Otok. During the trip, which takes about an hour and a half, you'll admire the beautiful landscapes of the archipelago.

Upon arriving in Dugi Otok, we'll meet at the port of Brbinj and take a minibus to our first stop, the white sandy beach of Veli Žal. There you can take a swim, explore the area by kayak and take a guided tour of Mezanj Island.

Two hours later, we'll get back on the bus and make our way to the highlight of the tour. Taking the kayaks, we'll paddle to an area where you can jump from the cliffs and enjoy a refreshing swim. You can even go swimming in an amazing cave that changes color depending on the sunlight!

After marveling at the beauty of the island, we'll return to the port of Gazenica, arriving at 6:50 pm.

Full-Day Kayak Tour

For an even more complete experience, you can book a full-day tour. As in the previous tour, you'll take a ferry from the port of Gazenica to Dugi Otok, arriving an hour and a half later.

Upon arrival, we'll transfer to the bay and start our kayaking adventure. During the tour, we'll discover secret caves and jump from high cliffs as we explore the island landscapes - the perfect rush of adrenaline! Then, we'll head to the north of the island, where you'll have free time to grab a bite to eat.

After lunch, we'll kayak to a sunken ship for a fun snorkeling experience. Then, we'll continue paddling until we reach the white sandy beach of Sakarun, where we'll take a break to swim and relax in the sun. 

After 11.5 hours of exploring this island paradise, we'll return to the port of Zadar.

Half-day tour:

• April and May: Every Friday
• June: Monday - Saturday
• July and August: Monday - Thursday
• September: Monday - Friday
• October: The first two Fridays
   

Full-day tour:

• 15 April - 31 May: Sundays
• 1-30 June: Every day except the first three Saturdays
• 1 July - 31 August: Every day
• 1-30 September: Every day except Saturdays
   

Ferry tickets

Please keep in mind that none of the options includes tickets for the ferry. You'll have to purchase them on your own for € 7 (US$ 7.32) each way. We'll explain the whole process to you when you make your reservation.
