How does it work?
Your ticket is valid for 24 consecutive hours from when it's activated. For example, if you first use it on Monday at 3 pm, it'll be valid until Tuesday at 3 pm.
In that period of 24 hours, you'll be able to access the bus as many times as you like. This makes it easy for you to explore the main attractions of the city. Observe the remains of the grand York Castle from the vantage point of the Clifford Tower. Explore York Cathedral, the largest Gothic-style building in Great Britain (York Minster). Visit the famous botanical gardens (Museum Gardens) and learn about the Viking history of York (Jorvik Viking Centre).
Important
When the booking is made you must indicate the date in which you want it to take effect. You then have a period of 12 months from that date in which you can use it.
When you have made the reservation, you'll receive an email containing a voucher that you must present the first time you catch the bus.
Timetable & frequency
This York sightseeing bus leaves every 30 minutes, every day, between 9 am and 5:30 pm. During the months of November and December, the tour operates between 10 am and 2:30 pm. The total journey, without stops, takes 1 hour.
Please bear in mind that the last 3 buses of the day terminate at the Clifford Tower stop.
