Day Trip to Dilijan, Sevan, Goshavank, & Haghartsin
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet in the heart of Yerevan, at Nalbandyan Street, number 96. Here, we'll board a minibus to begin our day trip to the Armenian region of Tavush.
Along the way, we'll stop for an hour in Sevan to admire its monastery built in the year 874. You'll be left breathless by the churches that form this medieval complex.
We'll then return to our vehicle, where after a 40-minute ride, we'll reach the charming town of Dilijan. Here, you'll be able to grab a bite to eat at a traditional restaurant. We'll continue our route toward the Goshavank Monastery, founded by Mkhitar Gosh, a scientist and medieval fabulist. We'll spend an hour discovering the secrets of this architectonic complex, where both religious and secular buildings stand out.
Our last stop will be the Haghartsin Monastery, nestled in nature among the forests of Tavush. For a little over an hour, we'll explore this complex of churches and other buildings, whose origins date back to the 10th and 11th centuries. You'll fall in love with this magical spot!
Finally, after this 9 to 10-hour day trip, we'll return to Yerevan and say our goodbyes at our meeting point.
