Bike Tour of Yerba Buena, San Pablo & San Isidro de Lules
Bike Tour Details
This bike tour will begin after picking you up from your hotel in Yerba Buena at the designated time. Once we're ready, we'll provide you with the mountain bikes and helmets to pedal south through the Avenida Solano Vera.
We'll reach the campus of the Universidad de San Pablo, which was formerly a sugar mill, where we'll tour its facilities to learn its history. Next, we'll continue pedaling toward the ruins of the Vieja Usina de Lules, one of the most important hydroelectric plants in the country during the 1990s.
Afterward, we'll cycle west with views of the Andean forest from Cerro San Javier. We'll pass through aromatic lemon plantations along paths until we reach the Lules River. Here, we'll take our bicycles on our backs to cross its tranquil course. Truly an adventure!
After crossing the river, we'll take a descending path surrounded by the scenery of the Quebrada de Lules. Before you know it, we'll be in the main square in Lules. Here, we'll stop at a restaurant to enjoy a delicious and well-deserved 3-course lunch.
After lunch, we'll pedal again to the ruins of San José de Lules to connect with the Jesuit history of the region. These ruins, declared a National Monument, were the first place where sugar was cultivated in Latin America.
Lastly, we'll set off toward San Pablo, where we'll make our last stop to rest and relax before returning to Yerba Buena. Finally, we'll say goodbye at your hotel 8 hours after pickup.

This tour includes pickup at hotels in the center of Yerba Buena. If you're staying in another area, you'll need to head to the meeting point in Plaza Vieja.
