Snowmobile Adventure
Snowmobile Adventure
After picking you up from your hotel in Yellowknife at 11 am, we will board a minibus and head into the snowy landscapes of the Northwest Territories. When we are deep in this icy wilderness, far from the city center, we will begin our fantastic snowmobile adventure.
Put on your gloves, helmets, and warm clothes and get ready. After a brief training session on how to drive the vehicles correctly and safely, we'll climb on board the snowmobiles and start the route. For the next 40 minutes, we'll go through some of the spectacular icy forests of the Northwest Territories. Following the guide's itinerary, we will also skirt the frozen shores of the enormous Great Slave Lake - the deepest in all North America.
The snowmobile route also allows us to admire a variety of native Canadian wildlife in their natural habitat. Among the principle animals in this area of the country are the snow partridge, the fox, the rabbit, and the arctic lynx. If we don't get too close, you will be able to observe them hunting for food!
We will conclude the tour at the same starting point, and from there we will take you to your hotel, where we arrive at 12:30 pm.
