Great Slave Lake Ice Fishing Trip
Great Slave Lake Ice Fishing Trip
We will pick you up at your hotel in Yellowknife at 11 am before heading to the shores of Great Slave Lake, the second-largest in all the Northwest Territories. Plus, at 2,000 feet, its the deepest lake in all North America. This is the perfect place to try some ice fishing!
After a short presentation on how to use the equipment, just sit back comfortably in the tents as you wait for the fish to take the bait and pull the reel. Don't worry if it takes a while to catch them - patience is the key to good ice fishing!
During the experience, you will hear about the different kinds of fish that live in the Great Slave Lake, such as salmon, rainbow trout, and pike. At the end of the activity, we will enjoy a tasty light lunch and try some of the fish we have caught, accompanied by some delicious hot drinks to warm us up.
Finally, we take you back to your hotel in Yellowknife, arriving at around 3 pm.
