Cameroon Nature Reserve Tour
Cameroon Nature Reserve Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Yaoundé at 8 am and drive to Mefou National Park, one of the most spectacular natural enclaves in Cameroon.
Created in 1999, Mefou National Park is a wildlife refuge where we'll get the chance to spot gorillas, chimpanzees, and monkeys in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, we'll learn about the conservation work being done for the recovery and protection of these endangered animals.
After the visit to Mefou, we'll head to the Ebogo Forest Reserve on the banks of the Nyong River. To explore the area in the best possible way, we'll board a boat that will take us through the heart of this amazing forest.
Upon returning to land, we'll head over to the cocoa fields of Ebogogo, greet the local people, and learn about their customs.
By now you'll have built up an appetite! We'll enjoy a traditional-style lunch in the middle of the forest, the perfect way to refresh and recharge. Afterwards, we'll take a stroll down a nature trail. We'll encounter the magnificent large trees known as sapele, and the different species of birds that live here.
Finally, we'll return by minibus back to your hotel in Yaoundé at approximately 4 pm.
