The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, the bell tower, the wall, the Muslim neighbourhood, the Great Mosque and more... discover the main points of interest in Xi'an with this private guided tour.
Guided Tour of Xi'an
After picking you up from your hotel, we'll make our way to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, an impressive structure built during the Tang Dynasty in the year 648 to protect the Buddhist scriptures that monk Xuan Zhang had brought with him from India.
Our next stop will be at the Xi'an City Wall, the most complete ancient wall that can be found in China, and one of the largest military defensive systems in the world. It is 39 feet (12 m) high and over 8 miles (14 km) long. Whether you explore by bike or on foot, it is one of the best places from which you can admire the city.
After seeing the wall, we'll then visit the bell tower, a majestic, traditional building constructed in 1384 in the geographical centre of the city. Once we're there, our expert tour guide will tell you all about what this kind of building was used for in ancient China.
The next stop on our private guided tour will be in the Muslim neighbourhood, where the lively streets will enable you to see just what life is like for locals. We'll finish the tour with a visit to the Great Mosque of Xi'an, one of the largest in China.
