Private Day Trip from Wroclaw
If you've got a few days to spare during your trip to Wroclaw, don't miss the chance to explore its spectacular surroundings on a private excursion. When making your reservation, you'll have the choice of two itineraries, both of which can be adapted to your needs and interests:
Lower Silesia Tour (8 hours)
After picking you up from your hotel in Wroclaw, we'll set off into Lower Silesia, discovering the most picturesque places in this enchanting region, one of the most visited in Poland.
Our first stop will be at the famous Churches of Peace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Jawor and Świdnica. These are the largest wooden-framed religious buildings in Europe, built in the 17th century by the Silesian Lutherans after they were granted the freedom to worship by the Peace of Westphalia.
We'll then continue onwards to visit Ksiaz Castle, the third-largest fortress in Poland. As we explore the castle, which dates back to the 13th century, we'll get to admire its antique interiors, impressive tower and beautiful formal gardens.
At the end of a full day of sightseeing, we'll drop you back off in Wroclaw.
Departure time: For this tour, we recommend departing Wroclaw at 9 am or 2 pm, but if you wish to start at a later time, don't hesitate to contact us.
Stolowe Mountains Trek (8 hours)
We'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on the drive to the Stolowe Mountains National Park, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Poland, and characterised by its unusual rock formations.
The first stop will be the village of Karlow, where we'll embark on a 40-minute hike through nature to reach Szczeliniec Wielki. Located at 919 metres above sea level, this rocky peak is the highest point in the national park and offers breathtaking views of the Sudety and Karkonosze mountain ranges. Don't forget your camera!
After a short break in a mountain shelter, we'll begin our climb back down and make our way to Kudowa-Zdroj, a famous spa resort. Here we'll stroll through the town's park and have the opportunity to taste the healing waters from the different natural springs.
We'll also make a short stop in the town of Czermna to visit St. Bartholomew's Church, nicknamed the Skull Chapel. The 18th century chapel earns its ominous nickname from the numerous human bones and skulls that decorate its walls.
After visiting the chapel, we'll head back to Wroclaw.
Departure time: For this tour, we recommend departing Wrocklaw at 9 am, but if you wish to start it at another time, but if you wish to start at a later time, please contact us.
