Free Walking Tour of Jewish Wroclaw
Jewish Wroclaw Free Walking Tour Itinerary
Meet your guide at the scheduled time in Wroclaw's Main Market Square, a picturesque area of the city which dates back to the early 13th century and is characterised by the brightly-coloured Medieval buildings lining it. From this central point, you'll begin your free walking tour of the historic Jewish Quarter.
The Jewish community of Wroclaw is one of the oldest in Poland, and dates back to the 12th century. Follow your expert English-speaking guide on a fascinating tour around some of the most important monuments and buildings to this community, as you learn key facts from the more than 800 years of history.
Hear about the highs and lows in the lives of Jewish people here, from incredible cultural heritage and heroic individuals, to being banned entirely from the city and the horrors of the Holocaust, including the Siege of Breslau, the German name for Wroclaw.
After approximately two hours, your tour of Jewish Wroclaw will come to an end.
