Boleslawiec Pottery & Jawor Peace Church Tour
At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Breslau to start a tour around Boleslawiec, a city famous for its pottery production. Are you ready?
In 1 hour and 30 minutes we'll arrive at Boleslawiec, to walk through its historical centre to see the most representative places. Among them, the Pigs' Pond, the Rynek Glowny and the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
Afterwards, we'll go into the Boleslawiec Pottery Factory. Did you know that the first pieces in the region date back to the 7th century? Inside we'll learn about the processes of making clay and admire carvings with spectacular colours and designs. After this visit, you'll have 2 hours of free time for lunch and shopping, and you can take home a traditional piece of pottery as a souvenir!
With renewed energy, we'll leave on a trip to Jawor, arriving at 3:30 pm. Once there, we'll enter the Church of Peace, which, together with the one at Świdnica, make up the largest half-timbered temples in Europe, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Finally, we'll return to Wroclaw and leave you at your hotel at 5:30 pm.
