Wind through the charming old town of Curaçao's capital in a comfortable and fun way on the Willemstad tourist train. It'll be fun for all the family!
Willemstad Tourist Train
At 10 am, we'll meet at Fort Amsterdam and board the tourist train that'll take us around the most beautiful parts of Willemstad.
The train will then start chugging along towards Scharloo, a neighbourhood full of picturesque houses built during the 1880s. We'll stop in front of the Bolo di Bruit, which is popularly known as "the wedding cake" and is also one of the most photographed buildings in the city.
We'll then leave Scharloo behind and head to the Pietermaai Cathedral, the largest and most imposing church on the island. While you admire the building, we'll tell you all about its history and how it's part of a World Heritage Site that stretches across the historic area and harbour of Willemstad.
Next, we'll pass by Queen Wilhelmina Park, where many cultural events take place, and Waterfort Arches, a fortress that was once the site of the Barracks of William III of the Netherlands. Time for some history!
After 1 hour, the tourist train ride in Willemstad will come to an end as we arrive back at Fort Amsterdam.
