Tour of Willemstad + Liqueur Tasting
Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time at our starting point close to Willemstad's cruise port, from where we'll make our way to the Scharloo district. Here, we'll see the charming restored mansions that feature in this neighbourhood declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In this area of Curçao's capital, we'll get to admire the Wedding Cake House, called so because of its unique architecture. We'll then continue to Landhuis Chobolobo, an old country house that's now home to a distillery of the national liqueur Blue Curaçao. Here, we'll do a tasting of this refreshing drink while we get to know the history of the island's famous liqueur.
The tour will continue along Mambo Boulevard, from where we'll have incredible views of Table Mountain, which is over 3000 metres (9842 feet) tall. On this seafront promenade, we'll see Mambo Beach and its colourful little houses in a Caribbean colonial style. A postcard-pretty view!
Afterwards, we'll go in search of the iconic Queen Juliana Bridge, named in honour of a former Dutch queen. From here, we'll admire the views from Santa Ana Bay. What a great way to put an end to our tour!
After a total of 2.5 hours, we'll say our goodbyes at our original starting point.
