Wild Yukon & Hot Springs Tour
Description
At 2:30 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Whitehorse and head north to visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, one of the best places to see the wild animals living in these vast areas of Canada.
After a 30-minute journey, we'll arrive at the reserve, where we'll learn more about the wild animals in their natural habitat, specifically there are 12 different species of Northern Canadian mammals around the preserve. This tour is a perfect opportunity to take unique shots of impressive wildlife!
Wood bison, mountain goats, mule deer, elk, woodland caribou and muskox are some of the animals you'll encounter during the hour and 30 minutes that we'll be in this reservation. However, they're unpredictable, so we can't guarantee the number of animals you'll see.
After going around the majority of the Yukon's Wildlife Preserve, we'll head to Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs, where you'll have 3 hours free. Here you'll enjoy a warm water bath while admiring the remarkable views of the Whitehorse landscape.
The hot springs stay at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) all year round, even though the outside temperatures reaches -30 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit). So you can have a relaxing bath at any time of year in this corner of Canada.
Finally, we'll head back to your hotels in Whitehorse at 8:30 pm.
