Wellington Coast Off-Roading Tour + Seal Watching
Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Wellington and head south, leaving the city behind and entering the stunning coastal scenery.
Along the way, we'll pass through areas of pristine native forest, where we can observe local birds like the tui, kaka, and kereru, as well as the native falcon. As we progress, we'll visit a historic jungle and pass through private farms with cattle, sheep, and cows.
What's more, if the day is clear, we'll enjoy spectacular views of the Cook Strait, the South Island of New Zealand, and the Kaikoura Mountains!
Upon reaching sea level, we'll encounter a New Zealand seal colony, where you'll be able to observe these adorable animals in their natural habitat. You'll learn about their ecology, habitat and conservation status, a unique experience for nature and wildlife lovers!
Finally, we'll return to Wellington and drop you off at your hotel, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 3.5 hours of sightseeing.
