We'll meet at the Blue Bay IGV Hotel at the indicated time and from this point in Watamu, we'll drive to the local harbour.
Once we arrive at the dock, we'll board a dhow, a traditional sailing boat of Arab origin. We'll start sailing along Mida Creek, a part of the reserve that perfectly combines crystal clear waters with mangroves and sandy islands. Without a doubt, a landscape difficult to forget.
During the tour, we'll witness the magical African sunsets while we get to know the great variety of fauna that inhabits Mida Creek, among which flamingos, yellow-billed storks or large egrets stand out. If we're lucky, we'll also be able to see the African Osprey, with a wingspan of between 150 and 167 centimetres - incredible!
The dhow ride will also be accompanied by drinks and canapés throughout the trip. Can you think of a better way to end the day in Watamu?
Finally, we'll sail back to the departure dock and from there, we'll take you back to the meeting point in Watamu, where you'll arrive 2 hours after pickup.
