Make your way to Hell's Kitchen, better known as the Grand Canyon of Kenya, on a day trip, that's full of unforgettable views and rock formations sure to captivate you!

Hell's Kitchen Day Trip

After meeting in Watamu Bay at the indicated time, we'll travel to one of the most special places in Kenya, its unique Grand Canyon.

Located near the coastal town of Malindi, Hell's Kitchen Gorge is a perfect place to explore the totally eroded landscape of Eastern Kenya. Once there, we'll enjoy this canyon while discovering the peculiar rock formations that have been shaped over the years by wind erosion. Some of them stand out, such as the Map of Africa or the Rhinoceros Head.

Any guesses as to where the name of this site came from? We can attribute it to the high temperatures that lend the space the name "Hell's Kitchen." In some areas, it can reach up to 50° Celsius (120° Fahrenheit) during the day! We'll reveal the legends about Hell's Kitchen as we contemplate its reddish color, which will captivate you. Imagine what it would be like to see a sunrise or sunset here!

Then, we'll return to Watamu, arriving back 5 hours later.
