DC's Haunted History
On the evening of the tour, we'll meet at the corner of 15 St. NW and F Street NW and set off on a ghastly nighttime adventure through DC's haunted history.
Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, is more than just the center of political power—it's also a city with a dark and mysterious past. From assassination attempts and murders to shadowy conspiracies, D.C. is filled with untold stories.
Our first stop is at the Blair House, the official guest residence for the President. Known for its exclusivity, it’s also notorious for frequent ghostly encounters after dark!
From here, we'll stroll over to the National Theatre. Opened in 1835, this historic building is said to be haunted by the ghost of John McCullough, a famous actor who met an untimely end and is still spotted lurking backstage.
Next up, we'll head to the Hay-Adams House Hotel, where guests often report eerie occurrences—like ghostly sightings, radios switching on by themselves, and doors that unlock on their own.
Throughout the route, our friendly guide will share more ghastly stories of the city's past. Hear the story of a tragic murder that took place just yards from the White House, and uncover the eerie legend of the place where John Wilkes Booth is said to still wander!
Following a hauntingly informative 1-hour tour, we'll bring the experience to an end back at the meeting point.
