Go back in time in a classic Fiat 126p, an iconic Polish-made city car, while you drive along the Polish capital and learn about its history in a unique way!

Itinerary

Head to the Palace of Culture and Science to begin a one-of-a-kind self-driven tour. Get in a retro Fiat 126p, considered one of the most beautiful Polish cars ever made, and drive through the heart of Warsaw while an English-speaking guide reveals fascinating information about the monuments, streets and neighborhoods you see.

Designed in Poland in the 1960s under the Communist regime, this state-of-art car is a symbol of the Communist Era, which your guide will explain in detail as you are transported back in time.

Must-see Warsaw

Take this route to visit the capital’s most essential sights. In a vintage Fiat 126p, you’ll drive from the Palace of Culture and Science to the Royal Castle, a majestic baroque-style palace in the city center. As you drive through the historic center, you’ll see numerous monuments dedicated to the victims of the Second World War and hear about the tragic events which lead the capital to be practically completely destroyed.

Cross the Vistula to Praga district, famous for its trendy restaurants and bars.

Off-the-beaten Warsaw

Explore the less touristy areas of Warsaw driving a classic Fiat 126p. Take the highway to one of the most elegant neighborhoods of the capital until World War II. The modernist buildings contrast with the frugality of the rest of the city, marked by the Communist regime.

As you go over the history of Warsaw with your guide, you will drive past a nineteenth century fortress and finish the tour at the Palace of Culture and Science.

Communist Warsaw

During the 2.5-hour tour, delve into Warsaw’s communist past as you drive a classic Fiat 126p along the emblematic places and monuments of this period. YOu'll stop at the former headquarters of the Central Committee in Warsaw, the Ministry of Economy and the censorship office.

Retrace the steps of Communism in Poland, its consequences and fall. After admiring the monument honoring its victims, you will head back to the starting point. The Palace of Culture and Science was given to Poland by Stalin.
