Christmas Cooking Workshop
Workshops
When making your reservation, you can choose between two different workshops. Both take place along Stawki Street in Warsaw and include all the ingredients and utensils needed for participating in the Christmas cooking workshop:
Gingerbread Cookie Workshop (2 hours)
Is there a more traditional recipe than gingerbread cookies? In this workshop, we'll learn how to make pryaník. A traditional cookie with origins in Russia, this popular sweet treat can also be found in many neighboring countries, Poland being a popular one. You'll be licking the spoon as we blend together flour and ginger for a perfect gingerbread.
Throughout the workshop, we'll learn how to knead the dough, mold it, and ultimately bake it at the perfect temperature. Once our delicious cookies are ready, the fun part arrives! We'll decorate our cookies with different syrups and icings. For those inclined, you can also turn your cookies into Christmas tree decorations!
4 Christmas Dishes Workshop (2.5 hours)
If you're more of a savory person, have no fear! Four traditional Polish Christmas dishes are here! In this workshop, we'll show you how to create a classic Polish Christmas dinner, including a dessert.
While the dishes we prepare may vary, in this workshop, we'll prepare traditional Polish dishes linked to the Christmas season. Beet soup with meatballs, legendary pierogis, chucrut, or makowiek, a traditional sweet with poppy seeds, can feature on our menu, as chosen by our chef. Yes, chef!
Of course, after putting in all our love to make a beautiful Christmas dinner, we'll sit down and enjoy our hard work. To top off the experience, we'll also enjoy a Polish liqueur tasting! A perfect end to a thrilling workshop.
