Join us to discover the German heritage of Espírito Santo on this excursion to Domingos Martins, a beautiful town decorated with traditional Germanic architecture.
Domingos Martins Tour
At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head north through the mountains of the state of Espírito Santo. Behind these peaks is Domingos Martins, a picturesque town that still preserves traces of German colonization.
We'll start our tour of Domingos Martins admiring the half-timbered facades of Rua do Lazer, a popular street with numerous traditional stores. We'll continue our walk in Arthur Gerhardt Square. There, we'll admire the flowers in his garden and visit the Lutheran church, which was inaugurated in 1887 and was a landmark for the German colony in the region.
After visiting the historic center of Domingos Martins, we'll move to the outskirts of the town to admire the landscapes of the Pedra Azul State Park. The Pedra Azul rock, which reaches an altitude of 1,822 meters, changes color during the day and presents shades ranging from blue to green, gray, and even yellow. We'll discover the reason for these chromatic changes!
The natural area of Pedra Azul, one of the most beautiful in the state of Espírito Santo, has even been used for the filming of several Brazilian soap operas. We'll find out which ones as we travel through this unique area that's sure to have a lasting impression on you.
Afterwards, we'll make a stop at a restaurant in the mountains so you can have lunch on your own. We recommend trying the famous Jacu coffee, which is very popular in the region.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel, arriving at 5 pm.
