Hiking in Valle de Palmarito
Hiking in Valle de Palmarito
On the morning of your hike, we'll pick you up from your accommodation in Viñales at 9 am and head for the Valle de Palmarito. This lush valley is home to spectacular rock formations and farms growing typical Cuban products, as well as being one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Viñales National Park.
Arriving in the valley, we'll embark on our hiking route. First of all, we'll visit a coffee farm where we'll discover the fascinating production process of this delicious product. We'll get to walk through the plantation to see first hand what methods are used to grow coffee in this area of Cuba.
Continuing on our hike, we'll walk over to a tobacco plantation where we'll learn all about this important crop that creates one of the country's most emblematic products: Cuban cigars.
For the finishing touch on our trekking route, we'll walk through the valley to a cave, where we'll see the stalactites and stalagmites inside. You'll be enchanted by the Valle de Palmarito!
At the end of our hike, we'll return to Viñales for around 1 pm.
