We'll pick you up from your hotel in Villavicencio at 7 am. From there, we'll start a two hour and 45 minute drive to San Juan de Arama. Are you ready to go rafting in the Güejar river canyon?
Once we arrive at the river, we'll explain briefly what the activity will consist of and we'll hand out the equipment. Before jumping into the water, we'll have a delicious breakfast give us lots of energy for the day of activity ahead. Afterwards, we'll get into the rafts and start going down the canyon - it's time to test your paddling skills!
We'll enjoy the incomparable natural scenery as we paddle down the Güejar River at full speed. The 17 kilometres (10.5 miles) of the canyon are shaped by wonderful landscapes of lush vegetation, natural pools, green trails and impressive waterfalls - a real natural paradise!
We'll take a break to recharge our batteries with a lunch of meat and vegetables, and then visit some fascinating rock formations. Did you know that some of the oldest rock formations on the planet are found here? We'll learn all sorts of interesting facts!
Finally, we'll be back at your hotel in Villavicencio at 5 pm. See you next time!
