Lejanías Coffee Tour
Description
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villvicencio at 7 am before setting off in a 4x4 vehicle through the Colombian department of Meta.
After a 3-hour drive, we'll stop at a coffee farm on the outskirts of the municipality of Lejanías. Upon arrival, we'll have a hearty breakfast so that we can take on this exciting day with gusto!
After breakfast, we'll begin touring the farm while learning about the history of Colombian coffee. After we've enjoyed a local drink, we'll take a walk around the hacienda, going through the local woods and seeing the nicest viewpoints.
We'll conclude the tour by returning to the farm, where we'll visit the coffee and citrus plantations, as well as the processing laboratories. Seeing how the different products are made is great, but you'll also want to taste them, so we'll enjoy a tasting of coffee and wine produced on the estate.
To wrap up our visit, we'll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch featuring a selection of Colombian products, before returning to your Villavicencio hotel, where we'll arrive at about 5 pm.
