Charco Azul Tour

At 7 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio and get into a 4x4 vehicle that will take us to the town of Mesetas. We'll discover the wonders of Charco Azul!

After a three-hour drive, we'll arrive at our destination and, before starting our hike, we'll have a delicious breakfast to recharge our batteries. We'll then get back into the jeep and drive to the surroundings of Charco Azul.

Once there, we'll follow the path on foot to a small beach in the middle of the jungle that is home to a majestic waterfall. Did you know that this spot has become one of the most attractive destinations in the area? Its extraordinary beauty and the tranquillity of the surroundings make it a perfect place to connect with nature.

There you'll have some free time to take a swim in the Charco Azul, relax on the shore and take some snapshots to remember. It's time for lunch! Before continuing with the route, we'll stop for a lunch of meat and vegetables.

After lunch, we'll continue along the path to the Historical Memory Camp. For many years, Charco Azul was part of one of the guerrilla camps in the area. There we'll learn part of the history and how the ex-combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) lived during the time of the armed conflict.

We'll finish the excursion by dropping you off at your hotel in Villavicencio at 5 pm.
