Canyoning Activity in Uribe
Canyoning Activity in Uribe
At 7 am, we'll depart in a 4x4 vehicle from your hotel in Villavicencio. On this route through the Colombian department of Meta, we'll pass through beautiful landscapes characterised by lush forests and impressive waterfalls.
We'll stop in the municipality of Uribe, where we'll have a comforting breakfast to get ready for this exciting day. After regaining our strength, we'll visit the Mohán cave to discover the fauna and flora of this cave.
Afterwards, we'll take a walk along an ecological trail that will take us to the so-called route of the Seven Waterfalls. At this spectacular set of waterfalls we'll abseil and, if you wish, you can take a refreshing dip. After this dip, we'll equip ourselves with all the necessary equipment for canyoning. It'll be very exciting!
The canyoning activity will allow us to slide between different waterfalls, ravines and canyons in the area. We'll end the tour at the Amor waterfall, where we'll contemplate its impressive 15-metre (49 feet) torrent. From there we'll return to Uribe for a delicious traditional lunch including different local specialities.
After lunch, you can explore the surroundings of Uribe at your leisure. In the late afternoon, we'll meet again in the centre of the village for a delicious dinner of local products. Finally, you'll return to your hotel in Villavicencio, where you'll arrive at midnight.
