Talampaya National Park Night Tour
Description
At the designated time, we'll rendezvous at the Talampaya Canyon Operation Center to embark on our moonlit adventure through one of La Rioja's most prominent natural reserves.
Our night tour of the Talampaya National Park begins with awe-inspiring views of its colossal cliffs, soaring to towering heights of 170 meters (557 feet). These striking reddish sandstone formations are bathed in the moon's gentle radiance, casting mesmerizing images that make stunning photos.
Throughout this easy-going hike, with elevations reaching a maximum of 1300 meters (4,265 feet), we'll traverse a portion of the breathtaking Talampaya Canyon. From within this spectacular gorge, we'll peer up at the night sky. In this remote corner of Argentina, far from the muddling influence of artificial light, you'll be treated to a crystal-clear view of the stars and other celestial wonders adorning the heavens.
Continuing our night hike through the heart of Talampaya, we'll uncover the various nocturnal species that inhabit this seemingly arid ecosystem. You'll be amazed by the remarkable biodiversity that thrives within this national park.
Following an approximately 3-hour tour, we'll conclude our night adventure and return to our original meeting point.
