Talampaya & Ischigualasto Natural Parks Trip
Description
We'll commence our adventure by picking you up from your Villa Union hotel at the scheduled time. Our journey will take us south to one of La Rioja province's most remarkable natural regions.
After an hour's drive, we'll arrive at Talampaya National Park. This protected area can only be explored with a park guide due to its pristine nature. You'll have the option to select from various guided tours within this pristine enclave.
On these immersive Talampaya tours, conducted in sturdy off-roading vehicles, you'll be captivated by the park's red sandstone canyon. From the comfort of the vehicle, you'll also marvel at unique petroglyphs, along with striking geological formations resembling a monk and a cathedral. Following your Talampaya exploration, you'll have an opportunity to refuel with the food you've brought along.
Subsequently, we'll continue our journey southward to Ischigualasto Provincial Park, often referred to as the "Moon Valley." Here, you'll encounter rocks that bear a striking resemblance to a mushroom and a submarine. Our path will lead us to the bocce field, an area adorned with colossal stone spheres, the origins of which you'll soon discover.
After we've soaked in the landscapes of Ischigualasto, we'll make our way back to your Villa Union hotel. Anticipate returning 12 hours after the initial pickup.
