Road of the Seven Lakes + San Martin de los Andes
Road of the Seven Lakes + San Martin de los Andes
At 9:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villa La Angostura and hit the road in a comfortable minibus. We'll set off along the Seven Lakes Road, one of the most magical and famous routes in the province of Neuquén.
During the trip along this road, also called Route 40, we'll see the beautiful lakes that give it its name: Espejo, Correntoso, Escondido, Villarino, Faulkner, Machonico, and Lacar. To get the best possible views, we'll stop at their lookout points so that you can marvel at their beauty. Get your cameras ready!
While touring the northern part of Lake Correntoso, we'll make a stop at a farm belonging to the Quintupurais, a centenary Mapuche family that will show us their way of life. We'll even be able to taste their famous fried cakes.
After traveling the Seven Lakes Road, we'll end up in San Martin de los Andes, where you'll have three hours of free time to enjoy this charming Patagonian city. Its unique architecture, landscapes, and wide range of cultural and culinary offerings will make you absolutely fall in love.
In the afternoon, we'll get back on Route 40 and return to your hotel in Villa La Angostura, where we'll end the trip at 6:30 pm.
