Wool Workshop & Valle Escondido Tour
Wool Workshop & Valle Escondido Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the time of your choice and shortly after, the groups will head to a location just outside of Villa de Leyva, specifically to the El Recreo farm, where you'll be able to attend a wool workshop.
For the duration of 1 hour, we'll receive a masterclass from specialised farmers about the importance of this raw material and its significance for this Colombian region. They will also explain the processes that are carried out to achieve the best final result. You'll be able to touch and manipulate the raw unprocessed wool!
Afterwards, we'll enjoy some traditional snacks from the region before taking part in a game of Tejo. Do you know how to play? Don't worry, the rules are very simple and you’ll soon learn.
To finish off this great adventure we'll make our way to the incredible landscapes of Valle Escondido, where we'll explore the lush forests and scenic waters of the River Cané. During our time here we'll be able to admire the architecture of an old 18th-century mill that was of great importance to the prosperity of the region.
After 4 hours of experience, we'll take you back to your hotel in Villa de Leyva.
