At 10 am, we'll meet at the Vila Real de Santo António Marina, ready to start our off-roading adventure through the incredible mountainous landscapes of the Algarve.
We'll get on board a 4x4 Jeep and head to Castro Marim. Along the way, we'll pass through several charming villages hidden amongst the region's mountainous backdrop.
Once we arrive in Castro Marim, we'll hear all about its history as we visit the natural park and the salt lakes. There we'll have the opportunity to see flamingos and to discover more about the plants and wildlife native to the northeastern Algarve.
Following the Jeep tour, we'll stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a lunch that includes a starter, a fish or meat dish, and dessert, accompanied by wine, a soft drink, or water. After we refuel, we'll head to our next destination, where you can't miss tasting the local Medronho liqueur accompanied with other traditional products of the region.
We'll make a final stop in Cacela Velha, a small hilltop village that offers a breathtaking view of the easternmost lagoon of the Ria Formosa.
After exploring this little-known area of the Algarve by Jeep, we'll finish the tour at 4 pm back at the starting point.
