Why Visit Taylor's?
On this guided tour of Taylor's Winery, you'll have the chance to discover one of the oldest and most prestigious wine-producing houses in Porto and the world. Founded in 1692, this space, which is over 300 years old, has history written all over it.
Over 1.5 hours, we'll learn all the secrets involved in the production process of the wines made in the Duero region, as well as Taylor's journey from its inception to the modern day. All of this, thanks to an informative audio guide in English. Discover it all!
Learn why its selected wines have become a true icon of Porto and how Taylor's was a pioneer in Porto Dry White wines and the creator of the Late Bottled Vintage, a successful style that revolutionised the consumption of wine in Porto itself.
Once the tour has finished, we'll make our way to the tasting room where we'll take part in a tasting of 2 iconic wines produced by Taylor's: Chip Dry-Blanco Extra-Seco and Late Bottled Vintage.
Opening Times
Taylor's Winery is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 6 pm. You can access the winery at whatever time you'd like during the opening times.
Special Times
- December 24, 2024: the winery will open at 10 am and final admission will be at 5 pm.
- December 25, 2024: the winery will open at 12 pm and final admission will be at 6 pm.
- December 31, 2024: the winery will open at 10 am and final admission will be at 5 pm.
- January 1, 2025: the winery will open at 12 am and final admission will be at 6 pm.
Children under 8
Please keep in mind that, although children under 8 years of age can take part in the tour for free, the grape juice tasting from Valle del Duero will not be included in this offer.
