Scuba Diving Introduction in São Miguel
At the selected time, we'll meet at the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo to start the diving introduction on the south coast of São Miguel. Nervous? Don't worry! You'll be accompanied by your instructor at all times.
The first part of the activity will be spent on the theory of scuba diving. We'll look at all the elements of the diving equipment and learn what each one does. We'll also discuss the different diving techniques and underwater communication signals. You'll become experts in no time.
After learning all the theory, we'll get on a boat and gear up with all the necessary equipment. We'll then reach the nature reserve on the islet of Vila Franca do Campo and dive in the water to put into practice everything we've learned. During the dive, we'll be able to admire the varied marine vegetation and wildlife, as well as sunken canyons dating back to the 16th century. This will be, without a doubt, an unforgettable experience.
After three hours, we'll finish this diving adventure by returning to the departure port by boat.
