Corvo Island Tour

At 10 am we'll pick you up from your hotel on Corvo Island and start our tour around this island, which is the smallest in the Azores.

First, we'll visit the town of Vila do Corvo to explore its narrow streets called canadas. We'll visit the church of Our Lady of Miracles, built in the 16th century. The church houses a valuable Flemish sculpture that, according to legend, protected the town from Algerian pirate incursions in 1632.

Next, we'll head to the cliffs to see the masonry windmills that sit majestically at the top. Cameras at the ready! After we're done taking pictures, we'll replenish our energy stores with a lunch consisting of two sandwiches, fruit, a sweet treat, juice, and water. 

We'll then drive along laurel forests to reach our final destination: the volcanic area of the island. We'll soon arrive at Cahimbo, a hill from where we'll have a fabulous view of the Caldeirão volcano and its two crater lakes. The sight is absolutely breathtaking.

We'll drop you off at your hotel at 3 pm, ending our island tour.
