Ziplining in Iceland
After meeting at Ránarbraut at the time indicated, we'll head to the start of the zipline in Vík. Ready to fly? Let's go fly over the countryside in southern Iceland!
From here, we'll take a walk with views of hills and canyons to reach the starting point. Once here, we'll give you a brief explanation about the activity and hand out the safety equipment. Then, we'll be ready to enjoy a circuit of 3 ziplines, that vary between 30 and 240 metres (98 - 787 feet) long.
We'll start at the first zipline, called Big Russ, and fly over the landscape for 5 minutes. In the blink of an eye, you'll be soaring over an impressive river canyon and enjoying the best views of the area. The second line, The Gentle Giant, will be waiting for you at the end.
After the first 2 ziplines, we'll take a short walk through rocky natural caves. We'll cross the river and arrive at the third, Little Russ. On this line, you'll fly by a spectacular waterfall.
Finally, if the weather allows, we'll take a short walk back to where a vehicle will be waiting for us. Between 1.5-2 hours later, we'll arrive back at the meeting point in Vík.
