If you want to explore the rooms of a palace full of some of the most unique art pieces in the world, you can't miss out on the chance to visit the Vienna Museum of Art History.

Kunsthistorisches Museum Ticket

With this ticket, you'll have access to the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Art History), a palace erected to house the Habsburg art collection. Its beautiful façade is crowned with a 60-meter dome with a statue of Pallas Athena on top.

In this museum, you'll be able to see different exhibitions classified by historical eras. You'll marvel at the 17,000 objects from Egypt and the Middle East or the rooms dedicated to the Roman and Greek art exhibits, which house the famous Gemma Augustea. If you're a coin enthusiast, we recommend you stop at the exhibition of over half a million coins

What's more, the art gallery collection consists of paintings by Velazquez, Titian, Caravaggio, Vermeer, Pieter Brueghel, Rubens, and Dürer, among many other artists. And among this wide collection of art pieces, you'll find The Tower of Babel, the Triptych of Calvary, The Lamentation of Christ, or the Portrait of a young Venetian girl

Sarcophagi, mummies, or the recreation of one of the lions of the Ishtar Gate of Babylon await you in this magnificent museum. You'll explore rooms presenting from Classical antiquity works to 18th-century pieces.
